What does it take to be a giver? In all senses much of us usually a taker, what ever in front of us we took it & sometimes never get enough of it. We forget & we do forget there are less fortunate out there need our helps as much as they can get even a small charity can make a different.
"And spend in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad of
all kinds, etc.) and do not throw yourselves into destruction (by not
spending your wealth in the Cause of Allah), and do good. Truly, Allah
loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers)" (QS 2:195)
Great wealth & happiness can only be grasp within our reach by being a giver not only when we want to but when we also in much needed situation. That is true love among brothers & sisters even with different races or faith. By learning not take advantage of others & helping them with what we have & much sincerity teach us to be modest & humble besides getting respect from them. Sometimes the good deeds are repaid in a way you can imagine either through greater wealth or when we badly needed a helping hand.
"Who is
he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to
him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your
provisions), and unto Him you shall return" (QS 2:245)
Month of Zulhijjah 1434H is all about sacrifice & being a giver. What have you donate is for you to take afterlife & that is awesome!
