'Supermoon' on Saturday Night Rises Concern in Japan

Salam and hi peeps,

On Saturday, 19th March 2011, the moon will appear at its closest point to Earth in 18 years; a distance of 356,575 kilometres away which is 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than lesser full moon (when the moon is at its farthest distance from Earth). For casual observer it may be hard to tell the difference or weather permitting.

In addition, the 'Supermoon' will cause dramatically large range on high and low ocean tides but a NASA scientist has been stressed out that it will not cause natural disasters such as Japan Earthquake. Therefore, Nippon!!! stop worrying...The 'Supermoon' will only last for approximately 4 hours, come on!!! prepare your gear and start capturing this rare event!!!
