Alternate Ego

We do sometimes find ourselves bragging about others fault & overlook who we are in others mind. Allah gave us the luxury to live the life we chose to live for & with that comes hardships & benefits which we always take for granted just because we felt we are right & that is what we called EGO. What we eat is what we are. There is always less fortunate out there who wish they had what we have but for some being less fortunate is a bless in disguise if an understanding pops up in their mind along with the knowledge they had.
Consuming with ego of being over the top makes a person vulnerable to accept hardships & for them the only way to get rid of it is just by forgetting about it or killed the root to make it go away. But keep in mind you may forget about it but in the future it may haunts you back because that is your weakness & Allah is the most righteous in testing you with these hardships over and over again until you overcome them with a smile. The Buddhists called it 'karma' but for Islam, it just a way of Allah to test us until we fully  understand it so that it may create a feel of gratefulness in our heart. You maybe beautiful, rich or even clever with great job but they came with greater responsibilities & baggage for you to understand why you get it & not for you to brag about it with a feeling of being better than others or even worst treat others like a swarming flies. Treat others the way you would like others to treat you.

Modesty or shame is a lifestyle Islam taught its Believer to have because balance makes our life easier & whenever hardships come along we can definitely deal them with ease as in Chinese philosophy; there are Ying & Yang.

Abu Mas’ud ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amr al-Ansari al-Badri, radiyallahu ‘anhu, reported that the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said:
“Among the things that people have found from the words of the previous prophets was: ‘If you feel no shame(modesty), then do as you wish.’”

[Al-Bukhari]

Do not feel sorry for the people in Palestine, Syria & Egypt for their hardships but feel sorry to ourselves because Allah loves them more by giving them greater hardships resulting in growth of belief than we had as living in a luxury makes us forget who we should ask for help most. What we as Muslim can do is by helping them to win so that we also will share why & what is important being a Muslim directly from them as they are the chosen one to help us understand. Here are some emergency calls for us to used and to be remembered by Allah, cheerio!

The Bond

My name is bond, James Bond...nice to meet you...
Alright I'm not gonna do any sneak preview on any latest Bond movie but yeah, it is the same 'Bond' but different meaning.

noun
1) a thing used to tie something or to fasten things together:she brushed back a curl which had strayed from its bonds
(bonds) ropes, chains, or other restraints used to hold someone prisoner: he stooped over the trussed man and tested his bonds

a force or feeling that unites people; a shared emotion or interest:there was a bond of understanding between them

verb
1) join or be joined securely to something else, especially by means of an adhesive substance, heat, or pressure: [with object]:press the material to bond the layers together [no object]:this material will bond well to stainless steel rods

(as adjective bonding)

Human bond is a beautiful thing connecting from one person to another, with this bond here comes the trust. Inside of us, everyone do want to be attached to something or someone. We cant' live alone our whole life especially if you are a chatter type, pot pet pot pet....

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)."  (QS 49:13)

In Islam, brotherhood bond is important because if Muslims are divided, they become vulnerable and easily become victims to others as known today. Since the fall of caliph empire, not once we hear or see the greatness or important of being a Muslim. The creation of individual nation among Muslim countries is just a diversion and illusion in controlling Muslim from being one.

"Verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other)." (QS21:92)

"The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy." (QS 49:10)

The Arab Spring in recent times is what the enemies of Islam fear most. But, it is not easy to fight them if Muslims are still being divided & scared just to lost what they have in dunya. As we can see know, not all Muslims care about their brothers & sisters in these  turbulent countries only for themselves by insulting them & ask why dont' they just stop fighting for something they cannot win.

"O People who Believe! Men must not ridicule other men for it could be that the ridiculed are better than the mockers, nor must the women ridicule other women for the ridiculed women may be better than the mockers; and do not insult one another, nor assign evil nicknames; how base it is to be called a sinner after being a Muslim! And whoever does not repent - then it is they who are unjust." (QS49:11)

Quran invites humanity to unite and come together under the principles of love and affection and thus, has referred to the faithful believers of a society as being brothers (and sisters) of one another. For the first time in history, a community of people that numbered hundreds of millions was brought together as brothers & sisters of one another. Isn't it awesome?

When all small rivers are joining together to make a large river, then at this time they are able to produce thousands of kilowatts of electricity and through this one large river, thousands hectares of land can be irrigated. Where do all of these great bounties came from? They came through the unity of small droplets that were once weak and did not possess the ability to do anything on their own. This is what Islam taught us. Even in surah Al-Fatihah verse 5:

"You alone do we worship and You alone we seek for help."

The use of "we" word is significant in seeking the true path as we alone cannot find the knowledge & truth we want unless we try to find from the help of others to guide us. That is why schools are build. Therefore, please care & learn from our history how the enemies work & why being a Muslim is such an important figure by keeping the flame of brotherhood alive.

Lawful relationship (marriage) is important and a must between a girl and a boy because the bond they have by getting married with love for Allah will keep them intact even they have an argument which much different than an unlawful relationship. This can be interpreted in relationship between Muslims (brotherhood) because how much we argue or hate each other, we share the same believe (tauheed) & way of life than those who carries different faith in their life.

But in the end, what really happens in the Muslim world is actually a humanity crisis covered up by high ranking of the world corrupted leaders in fulfilling their desire to be on reign. How can you kill people who are demonstrating & fighting what they believe peacefully? Why can not we fight against corrupted leader? Islam truly introduced freedom & love among the Believers. With these strong desires, people will realize that you can fight for what you believe to be better in the future without any pecking order to fight for & live peacefully as we were once before during the reign of Islamic Caliph Empire. To all, lets hold hands together not only Muslims but also other faiths to condemn & fight these corrupted minds from being long-lasting leaders of the world. We Muslims do not want to be the only sole leader of this world but together we can make this world a better place to live for.

MUSLIMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS!
WE LOVE PEACE!

Press the HOT BUTTON!

CONFLICT? STRESS? LOST OF TRUST? BORED? LONELY?

Everyone has their own triggers and if they are pushed hard enough they can make you explode negatively or positively. When you pushed a button something happens, maybe the floodgates of emotion is thrown out. These hot buttons is the perfect tool to get people trust or get on their nerve. A jackass sure did the opposite to get what they want.

In handling these hot buttons, you must understand your hot buttons first as "Never has a man who has bent himself been able to make other straight.” To understand it you must meet the Quadruple 'T's

The first T is Taaruf (knowing), through our experience we met various kind of people with different attitude even the guys who kept intimidating us is worth knowing as through them we can perfectly knew what our hot buttons are. That is why first impression is the best way to know a person & first step before understand them.

The second T is Tafahum (Understand), only few try to understand others to resolve any conflict just because they think there are above all. For example, an acquaintance of us usually do his job less than ours, does not do overtime but always get away from problems & get praised by the boss. So we called him SLACKER! But the truth is, it is totally wrong to compare ourselves with others. The fact is all his work is actually within requirements and desired by the boss compared to us as we tried to go beyond just because we are perfectionist or disliked our job & try to make up the fact by comparing others to make us happier. Try to understand others even a little can make a big different. Keep pressing their hot buttons positively such as praising them, ask about their family or talk any topic interest them depending on their hot buttons, from there you can get what you want & happier without conflict. Being different does not mean you cannot fit with others, it is the beautiful thing being human.

The third T is Ta'awun (trust), by understand their feelings & needs, we simply can get their trust it is what makes human & the funny thing is we also start to trust them. Through trust we are bonded but we must continue to understand them as times past by people changed this also includes their needs.

The last T is Takaful, as we knew what they want to keep them going & resolve any conflict we start to fulfill each other needs & it is not hard to ask for any help from them now but if a person continuously giving as a headache & it is too hard to ask any help it means he does not trust us yet.

"O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers." (49:11)

You are my friend!

“Sebaik-baik manusia adalah generasiku (para sahabat) kemudian generasi berikutnya (tabi’in) kemudian generasi berikutnya (tabiu’t tabi’in)” (Hadits Bukhari & Muslim)

2. Tolong member dengan segera sampai member sendiri belum sempat minta tolong, offer la diri terus nak tolong.
3. Sembunyikan rahsia member walau apa pun cara sekalipun.
4. Tutup keaiban kawan tapi sentiasa tolong perbaiki kelemahan dia.
5. Diam bila orang lain kutuk member tapi jika kawan buat salah pergi tegur.
22. Hantar member sampai depan umah dia.
23. Diam ketika member bercakap-cakap sehingga selesai dan jangan suka mencelah kecuali bila dia mula bercakap bukan-bukan.

Dictatorship or Citizenship

World nowadays has been erupted with few uproar from the people especially from the Arab countries and many fear it will spread to other continents as one small fire can trigger many more to comes. But do people realize that to start a fire one have to trigger it? And how big the fire is depends on how much wood it can burn. The wood is the people and the one that trigger it no more than self-concious of freedom itself. Freedom is not an easy word to carry around and it is the most feared word for ages. You can give people wealth, security, education and many more benefits to shut them off but when it comes to freedom one never can stay down forever.

"If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything" - Malcolm X

You can read about how majestic an empire was but when it comes to its downfall, freedom is always been mentioned at the end of every line. The great  Pharaohs, Shih Huang Ti, Caesar and many more were down to their knees.  Even the most prominent empire conquering 2/3 of the world which was the Islamic Caliph Empire has taken its toll. We are born to be free, free to choose, free to express, free to think, free to give ideas and free to fight for whom we feel it is right.

“An individual should not have too much freedom. A nation should absolute freedom.” - Sun Yat Sen (China's Revolutionizer)

Hadith I: Manusia seperti logam

"Annas ma'adin, khiaruhum fil jahiliyyah khiaruhum fil islam, idza faqihu/faquhu"

Maksud:
“Manusia seperti logam, terpilihnya mereka semasa jahiliyyah terpilih juga mereka semasa Islam, sekiranya mereka faham"

Nilai logam tidak akan berubah dalam mana-mana zaman. Sekiranya ‘jahil’, nilai itu akan menyokong jahiliyyah dan sebaliknya, sekiranya dia Islam, nilai itu akan menyokong Islam. Segalanya bergantung kepada kefahamannya. Contoh terdekat seperti Umar al Khattab.

The Muslim Weaknesses

Salam and hi peeps,

Moche Dayan, Israeli Minister of Defense (1973) once said that the outmost and visible weaknesses of Muslims today are:

1. They don't want to study past history
2. They always planning in hesitation or carelessly
3. They don't read a lot

Arrogantly even the Jews say it loud in the public because they always knew that Muslim nowadays don't care about this. Hopefully this will be a reminder for all of us, Muslims.

Take care and salam
