Dictatorship or Citizenship

World nowadays has been erupted with few uproar from the people especially from the Arab countries and many fear it will spread to other continents as one small fire can trigger many more to comes. But do people realize that to start a fire one have to trigger it? And how big the fire is depends on how much wood it can burn. The wood is the people and the one that trigger it no more than self-concious of freedom itself. Freedom is not an easy word to carry around and it is the most feared word for ages. You can give people wealth, security, education and many more benefits to shut them off but when it comes to freedom one never can stay down forever.

"If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything" - Malcolm X

You can read about how majestic an empire was but when it comes to its downfall, freedom is always been mentioned at the end of every line. The great  Pharaohs, Shih Huang Ti, Caesar and many more were down to their knees.  Even the most prominent empire conquering 2/3 of the world which was the Islamic Caliph Empire has taken its toll. We are born to be free, free to choose, free to express, free to think, free to give ideas and free to fight for whom we feel it is right.

“An individual should not have too much freedom. A nation should absolute freedom.” - Sun Yat Sen (China's Revolutionizer)
Rulers of the world choose dictatorship over leadership because they forgot how to be a leader and corrupted to the core as power is not something can be taken lightly. You can be 'god' and to be a 'god', you must make your own laws and punishments to ensure stability and security towards your reign. You control your people voice, eyes and ears only then you will be there as long as you wish. You make your people weak in their belief by spreading evil deeds in their mind and heart, give them entertainment to make them forget and stop the scholars from doing their job. But, as long there is still one good seed among the people there is still hope and light at the end of every tunnel. That is one thing the Rulers cannot control. You can say among the Leaders there are someone who is pulling the strings but becoming vulnerable to their own desire and reluctant to show their determination to change it is totally unacceptable.

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Allah does not punish the individuals for the sins of the community until they see the evil spreading among themselves, and while they have the power to stop it, do not do so.” (Ahmad) Ibn Taimiyyah said: “This is why those who are in authority are of two groups: the scholars and the rulers. If they are upright, the people will be upright; if they are corrupt, the people will be corrupt.”

There will always be one Al-Mighty and you cannot fight against Him because deep in people heart, freedom and justice can never be switched off as that what make human is. People are more afraid of losing their belief and lost without any guidance. Thus, it is a fight within themselves. You see around evil is spreading and you know you have to do something.

"We have returned from the lesser jihad to embark on the greater jihad." They said: "What is the greater jihad?" He said: "The jihad of the heart, or the jihad against one's ego."- As-Syahid Hassan Al-Banna

You have no right in accusing this bunch of people as terrorists, murderer or death bringer because you wasn't in their shoes and you can only understand them if you were experiencing it. As someone told me, only the poor people can see or feel how it is like to be rich not the silver spoon type. Yes, there were violences but do we have a chance to see the true color of a ruler or nation today? Only one side is shown to the world but the most hideous side never been revealed only after their downfall. One can try to provoke people in hating violence but one can never mend years of wound.

"I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent"
"I cannot teach you violence, as I do not myself believe in it. I can only teach you not to bow your heads before any one even at the cost of your life" - Mahatma Gandhi

A great nation consists of three 'U' working together in the name of Allah, 'Ulama (Scholar). 'Umara' (Leader) and 'Ummah (People). We cannot abide the law of Allah by Quran and Hadith as it is the only solution to make us prosper and remind the people who really own this world. Implementation of these laws can be done one step at a time or fuse it with the present laws under revision by the Scholars as what have been done by Brunei (2011). Remember and learn from our 'genuine' history because it is a repeated scenario, sometimes we already knew the ending but we try to change it. Do change it for Allah not because of greed and self-settlement to the situation but only for the greater good of all. We never want violence or insecurity, only when we are being oppressed we become stronger and fight for what we believe.

"And We made their hearts firm and strong (with the light of Faith in Allah and bestowed upon them patience to bear the separation of their kith and kin and dwellings, etc.) when they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, never shall we call upon any ilah (god) other than Him; if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity in disbelief."
"These our people have taken for worship aliha (gods) other than Him (Allah). Why do they not bring for them a clear authority? And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah." (18:14-15)
